Soaps are divided on the basis of carbon footprint, natural ingredients and organic. They are also divided into collections. A Kakapo Signature soap has been developed for the Recovery Program for Kakapo. 100% of your purchase is donated to this cause.
HELIPAD – Helicopters will land at Hukawai Lodge as a memorable start to your prebooked and paid flight. For some flight options there is a requirement to fill the helicopter seats. If your bent is more toward chartering a helicopter the only issues will be weather on the day and therefore the time a flight can be scheduled. Another issue can be cloud whch will obscure to some level the breathtaking panorama. I charter a helicopter regularly for family and friends, generally for an hour. The view never gets old, the photographs never lose their magic and I would still choose this experience over anything offered in Franz Josef. My usual flight path is Hukawai Lodge to Franz Josef glacier valley, around Mt Cook, land on Tasman Glacier landing spot, land on Fox Glacier neve, Cook River, champagne breakfast or lunch on the beach where the river meets the Tasman Sea, along the West Coast to Okarito, back home.
HELICOPTER BOOKINGS – We are knowledgable about helicopter businesses, their flights and costs. As with all activities in Franz Josef we can organise them on your behalf and we can offer a better deal than most.
